Emir of Kano has passed away at age 83

Emir of Kano Ado Abdullahi Bayero, has passed away at age 83

Bayero became the Emir in 1963 at age of 33, and was one of Nigeria’s most prominent traditional rulers .

He died earlier today, and will be buried today in Kano according to Islamic rites.
