A shocking event happened yesterday 7th November 2016, in Mpape, Ajegunle road of Abuja, when a brother slaughtered his own brother while asleep.   It was learnt that the culprit came all the way from ogoja village to visit them in Abuja, not knowing he had an evil plan against the elder brother until last night that he carried out the evil plan.    Neighbor got to know this morning when they enter the room to see the lifeless body of the man in his pool of blood. they immediately called the police which has taken away the corpse.   The culprit disappeared immediately he committed the evil act. You Will be Shocked Why EFCC Arrested Reuben Abati, Bala Mohammed

Barely 24 hours after they were arrested, more details have emerged about why Reuben Abati, a former presidential spokesman, and Bala Mohammed, a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, were arrested by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. Sources has it that, Mr. Abati received N50 million from the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki. The sources said Mr. Abati admitted taken the amount and explained how he spent it. Mr. Abati reportedly told investigators that he spent the N50 million on media relations that had to do with his work as a media adviser for Mr. Jonathan. But when asked for evidence of how the money was spent, he reportedly said such details were not documented “He said media relations details are not documented,” a source said.  .For Mr. Mohammed, he was arrested for alleged land racketeering. Nigeria Government Recovers N78, 325,354,631.82 From Looters

The Federal Government of Nigeria made cash recoveries totaling N78, 325,354,631.82 (Seventy-eight billion, three hundred and twenty-five million, three hundred and fifty-four thousand, six hundred and thirty-one Naira and eighty-two kobo); $185,119,584.61 (One hundred and eighty-five million, one hundred and nineteen thousand, five hundred and eighty-four US dollars, sixty one cents); 3,508,355.46 Pounds Sterling (Three million, five hundred and eight thousand, three hundred and fifty-five Pounds and 46 Pence) and 11, 250 Euros (Eleven thousand, two hundred and fifty Euros) from 29 May 2015 to 25 May 2016. Radio Biafra Transmitters installed on MTN masts —FG

FG has said the transmitters for Radio Biafra, were found to be installed on MTN masts in Enugu and Anambra states, to ensure wider coverage for the radio. The headquarters of the radio station is “presumably in London.” This is contained in the government’s case summary of the fresh six counts of treason and other ancillary offences instituted against the founder of Radio Biafra and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and two others, before the Federal High Court in Abuja. $2bn arms deal:Dasuki, Dokpesi, Bafarawa, others on Dirty Waters

The special team raised by the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to probe the disbursement of $2.2 billion arms contract deal in the office of the former National Security Adviser, yesterday, confronted the major suspects with evidence of their illicit transactions. The 27-member task force, which has Ibrahim Magu as a member, spent most part of the day to grill the suspects and asked them to speak up on any aspect of the transactions where their names or those who allegedly fronted for them, appeared. The extended questioning of the high profile suspects, our correspondent learned, was to prepare the ground for their arraignment this week. Policeman Got Shot With Stolen Fuel

An Assistant Superintendent of Police attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Adeniji Adele, Lagos State, Charles Achidika, and two other suspected oil thieves are currently battling for their lives at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. It was learnt that Achidika and his accomplices, who have yet to be identified, were shot on the Badagry waterways around 2am on December 2, during a gun duel with men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command. The officer and other suspects had reportedly attempted to transport 12,400 litres of petrol, said to have been stolen from a vandalised pipeline, to Seme, a Lagos border town. Breaking: EFCC Arrests Ex-governor, Akpabio Over Alleged Fraud

Ex Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, was reportedly arrested on Friday by the EFCC. Sometimes i just wonder, the same toothless EFCC during Jonathan's administration, is now biting everybody, The EFCC has suddenly grow teeth LOLZ, Naija! Quoting Premium Times, Akpabio was said to have been taken in by EFCC operatives at about 5.20 pm. He was said to have been accompanied by a few aides and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Ricky Tarfa. The report states that an aide to the former governor, who cannot be named because he is not authorised to speak on the matter revealed that Mr. Akpabio is currently being interrogated by top officials of the EFCC. An EFCC source also stated to have confirmed the development. “He was brought in at about 5.20 pm accompanied by a few aides and Mr. Rickey Tarfa,” source said.

Cash Running into Millions Recovered from Ex-Minister Of Petroleum

  Diezani Alison-Madueke who was one of the top ministers in Jonathan's government was arrested Friday morning by the UK National Crimes Agency, alongside four other people, besides the four other persons arrested with the former minister, more suspects may also be arraigned. Meanwhile, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) detectives, who raided the Abuja home of Allison-Madueke, just at about the time of her arrest in the UK, on Friday, reportedly recovered cash running into millions of Naira. The trial is expected to be conducted in London and is likely to draw thousands of Nigerians resident in the United Kingdom (UK) but no date was specified, last night, when Sunday Vanguard made contacts with the National Crime Agency (NCA), which arrested and released Diezani and  the four others on Friday.

Abuja Bomb Blast: Eye Witness Report

President Buhari Has Orders Removal of Military Check Points

EFCC VS BANK PHB: A High Court in Lagos on Monday has dismissed the N25.7billion criminal charge against the former Managing Director of Bank PHB, Mr. Francis Atuche, and others. He was set free alongside his wife, Elizabeth and a former Chief Financial Officer of Bank PHB, Mr. Ugo Anyanwu. The three persons were prosecuted by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly stealing N25.7 billion from the bank. In a ruling delivered by the presiding judge, Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo, the court held that it is duty bound to comply with the decisions of Court of Appeal in the appeal of Okey Nwosu and Erastus Akingbola. The judge noted that though the prosecution, in its submission, was right to say that count one to ten of the charge was anchored on stealing which falls within the purview of State High Court. Boko Haram militants capture Chibok again

Boko Haram sect have, again, seized Chibok, the home of over 200 schoolgirls abducted by the insurgents in April. The insurgents attacked and seized the town on Thursday evening, residents said. The attackers have repeatedly targeted villages around Chibok over recent months. A senator from Borno State, Ali Ndume, told the BBC Hausa service that security forces deployed in the town ran away when the insurgents attacked. Residents said the insurgents headed to the centre of Chibok and declared that they were taking it over as part of their caliphate. The insurgents have changed tactics in recent months by holding on to territories rather than using hit-and-run attacks that have left thousands dead.
