 Wizkid was involved in a serious car accident in the early hours of this today, 15th June, 2013, around 3.30am. It was reported that the accident occurred in front of Oriental Hotel, Lekki and was caused due to a burst tyre. Details of the incident not clear, though Wizkid is said to be alright as he’s currently undergoing a few check-ups at his medical care centre. In Rivers State, the Police Command said yesterday that a senior police officer in charge of a patrol team yesterday lost his life in an auto crash in Port Harcourt. Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Angela Agabe, said the incident occurred while a team of policemen were chasing a vehicle that was snatched by armed robbers. She said the senior police officer died on the spot in the accident which occurred at Mile 1 axis of Port Harcourt, while three other officers sustained various degrees of injuries. Two elderly persons  on their way to a vigil escaped death by a whisker on Saturday night as a train hit their Mazda 323 LX saloon car  with the registration number AG 32 WWW (Ondo),  at Sango market, they were  held up in a traffic gridlock on Sango-UI road, According to an eyewitness, most vehicles that were caught on the rail track manoeuvred and escaped, while the woman, who was driving the affected car, could not, thus making the train to run into it.   Another eyewitness, Kunle Ajibade, told Sunday Tribune that, “a traffic jam had developed along the railway, making many of the motorists to be stranded.
