Ezeala said that the suspects were apprehended by security agents while attempting to escape to a neighbouring state.
The Chairman, Okpokwu Local Government Area, Mrs Juliana Obeta, also confirmed the arrest of the two men.

She said that all the cows stolen by them had been recovered and returned to the bishop and commended the police for their prompt response.
The chairman also commended the youths in the area for assisting the security operatives to search for the fleeing herdsmen.
“The joint efforts of both the security operatives and our youths who braved the odds and went into the bush in search of the attackers helped in apprehending the herdsmen and all the cows they stole,” Obeta said. (NAN)
