Former NDLEA boss killed in Borno


Mr Hatsiwa Bwala Former State Director of the NDLEA in Borno state, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in his home town in  Ngwa ward in Hawul LGA of the state, Adamawa.

The incident which took place around 2pm on Friday a source close to the Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima in a text message to our Correspondent said, the assailants trailed the deceased to his home town on Friday and shot him dead.
He added that, Late Bwala was before his untimely death, served as the Director of NDLEA in Borno state during Ali Modu Sheriif’s tenure as Governor.

Bomb Making Factory Uncovered in Okpella, Edo State

A Bomb making factory has been discovered at Okpella. The strangers who were living in the premises with their wives and children, which the community thought they were farmers, little did they know that the premises was a bomb making factory. Okpella Bomb explosion Nemesis Caught up with them, one of the bombs exploded killing one of them while fabricating them. the explosion called the attention of neighbors, While the Community tried to find out the cause of the explosion, they quickly packed the bombs and other weapons into their car to escape, members of the community gave them a pursuit when they took off. With the help of the Edo State Police Command three suspects were arrested for assembling items used in the manufacture of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
