President Jonathan Relieves Minister of Youth Development Of His Duties

President Goodluck Jonathan has today Monday relieved Minister of Youth Development, Alhaji Inuwa Abdul-kadir of his appointment. This was made known in a statement signed by the Sam Nwaobasi, Media Assistant to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim. With immediate effect, Abdul-kadir was asked to hand over to the permanent secretary of the ministry.

Boy Flys in the Tyre Hole of an Arik Plane from Benin to Lagos

Those from B-SIDE will understand the motive of this boy better, the teenager Daniel Ihekina, who was arrested at the Lagos Airport after flying in the tyre hole of an Arik plane from Benin to Lagos on Saturday morning, the teenager thought the plane was heading to US, hmm, sharp but foolish, he would passed out before he gets to the US. Abuja, Several Routes closed as First Lady, NCWS Holds Rally Tagged “Celebration of Nigerian Women for Peace and Empowerment”

The early hours of today thursday was hectic in the Capital city of Nigeria, as several routes in the capital were blocked following a mass rally and carnival organized by the Nigerian women under the auspices of Nigerian Council of Women Society (NCWS) to take “stock of the gains recorded so far in the empowerment of Nigerian women and the quest for peace in the country” at the popular Eagles Square. The rally which was tagged “Celebration of Nigerian Women for Peace and Empowerment” witnessed by various women across most Nigerian states was heralded by a motorized mass rally from Old Parade Ground area 10 through designated route with the campaign posters of the President Goodluck Jonathan on each truck used by the women and some men. The women, were dressed in wrappers with pictures of  Goodluck Jonathan converged. Gunmen Abduct 3 female Primary School Teachers in Edo

GUNMEN suspected to be kidnappers, Thursday, kidnapped 3 female grammar school teachers at Orogbua grammar school, at upper Ekenwa road benin town. The victims Patience Osadolor, Momodu Aisna and Patience Okoshone, were kidnapped at the premises of the school, once the gunmen who came in an exceedingly commando style, they shot sporadically and escaped in an exceedingly car belonging to one of the victims. A stray bullet was said to have hit one man Derick Akpotu, who was within the school to check on his girl. t he was being treated at an undisclosedhospital.
