42-year-old Man was hiking in the Austrian Alps Fell and die from 650ft

A British climber has died in the Austrian Alps after losing his balance and plunging around 200 metres (650ft) down a slope. Police said the 42-year-old man, who has not been named, was hiking with a companion in the Tyrol region in western Austria on Friday. Neither was an experienced climber, according to police. The Foreign Office confirmed it was communicating with the Austrian authorities. A spokeswoman said: "We can confirm the death of a British national in Austria. We are providing consular assistance to the family." 3 policemen killed chasing okada in Lagos

Tthree policemen were feared killed while attempting to arrest a commercial motorcyclist. The incident occurred at the Cement Bus Stop, along the ever-busy Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, and led to heavy traffic on the road as well some other parts of Agege. An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity told Saturday Tribune that the policemen were attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS). 3 NYSC Corps members have been kidnapped at the Corpers’ lodge in Ogonokom Community Secondary school, Abua/Odua local government area. FCTA is relocating the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp presently located at Kubwa in Bwari Area Council to Abaji, the FCT Administration has said. THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arrested 14 suspects, for illegal bunkering they were arraigned before Justice James Tsoho of the Federal High Court in Lagos. The suspects identified as Abu Ali Jibia, Akume Surprise, Boglo Babatunde, Umar Mohammed, Nafiu Hussain, Ibrahim Yakubu, Calvin Ajike, Alhassan Oseni, Kenneth Osei, Korlee Uebari, Habourpoint Nigeria Limited, Chidodo Access Oil & Gas Limited and Millennium Jetty and Marine Services Limited  pleaded not guilty  when a five-count charge of illegal oil bunkering were read to them.
