Abuja; Accident caused By Non-Functioning Old Traffic Light

     A serious accident occurred today 26th December 2016 at Hatlab junction, the accident involving a Hilux Melo van with 3 occupants and Woman driving her children in a sport car,the woman was driving across the junction towards Bigbite, along Ademola Adetokunbo road when the Hilux Van came with high speed from Ahmadu bello way and clear up the woman and her children, oh, oh see the car was rolling in the air, before hitting the ground one of the kid fell off from the back screen that was broken, the car is written off, oh, we are praying God to keep the occupants alive, see how the woman was shouting my children, my children.    We have reported about several junctions in Abuja with the non functioning  old Traffic lights , there is no week accident does not occur at one of these junctions.   What is the FCT Minister doing, about these traffic Lights?    What is FG as a whole doing about these Non-functioning old traffic lights?     What will it cause FG to change all

Nigeria Senate Turned Down Confirmation Of Magu As EFCC Chairman

Yesterday the Senate turned down the confirmation of Ibrahim Magu as substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, upon a security report by the Department of State Services, DSS, sparking a verbal backlash from supporters of Magu.  The 14-paragraph confidential report said that Magu has failed the integrity test and that if confirmed, he could eventually constitute a liability to the anti-corruption drive of the administration. The Senate, however, gave approval for the screening of the four members of the EFCC board whose names were sent alongside Magu by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo for confirmation in July while President Muhammadu Buhari was away on medical vacation. 

MMM; Contrary to Reports, MMM-Nigeria has not Crashed

BBC African Footballer of the Year Goes To Mahrez Grabs

Votes Collated from fans across the world, gives the 25-year-old Algerian winner of BBC Africa footballer of the year over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Andre Ayew, Sadio Mane and Yaya Toure. Mahrez says the honour means a lot to him and described it as one big award for African players. “It’s always good to receive awards and for African players, it’s a huge honour. To all the fans, thank you very much,” he told BBC. The player also extended his appreciation his family and Algeria fans whom he dedicated the honour to.

FG Banned the Importation of Vehicle through Land Borders:

Nigeria government has on Monday banned the importation of vehicles into Nigeria through the land borders. The statement made know by the Public Relations Officer of Customs, Wale Adeniyi, said “The prohibition order covers all new and used vehicles., “The ban is sequel to a Presidential Directive restricting all vehicle imports to Nigeria Sea Ports only. “The order takes effect from 1st January 2017. he said, “The restriction on importation of vehicles follows that of Rice, whose imports have been banned through the land borders since April 2016. “Importers of vehicles through the land borders are requested to utilise the grace up till 31st December 2016 to clear their vehicle imports landed in neighbouring ports.”
