FCT judges begin Easter break on March 29


The FCT judiciary on Thursday announced that the judges would commence a week-long Easter vacation from March 29.
The announcement is contained in a statement signed by the Director of Litigation, Bilikisu Uche.

The statement said that the break was in consonance with existing rules governing the court procedures and condition of service.
“Pursuant to Order 47, Rule 4 (2) of the Rules of this Court entitled `Civil Procedure Rule’, this court will from Friday, 29th day of March, 2013, to Friday 5th of April, 2013, proceed on Easter break.
“Further to the above, His Lord Hon. Justice M. A. Nasir, has been appointed as the vacation judge and she will be sitting in High Court, Apo, during the period.
“The court will resume sitting on Monday, the 8th day of April 2013,’’ the statement added. (NAN)
