Buhari Reliefs Permanent Secretaries Of their Duties

Nigerians has been yelling for ministers, which is taking longer than expected from appointment to inauguration, come tomorrow the President will inaugurate and assign portfolios to ministers, while Nigerians has patiently been waiting for the new ministers, Permanent Secretaries has been in charge of various sectors , as the owners of the ministeries are coming tomorrow, in President Buhari spirit of cutting down spending, some perm sec will no longer be required, in our opinion this might not be unconnected with the recent retirements going across the federal civil service.

Some of the permanent secretaries led by the new Acting Head of Civil Service of the federation, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita, held a closed door with the president at the presidential villa.

It is not yet known what transpired at the meeting but feelers said that the president may have communicated the development to them.

Most of those affected were those senior to the acting Head of Service.

It was gathered the development brought tears to the Oyo-Ita at the meeting as she felt for the Permanent Secretaries
