All Progressives Congress, APC has said that it will act within the confines of the rule of law in responding to the inconclusiveness of the Kogi State governorship election that held on Saturday. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had declared the election inconclusive following the gap between cancelled votes and the wining margin and incidentally, the APC’s candidate, Prince Abubakar Auduimmediately after the election died. It is believed that Audu’s death immediately had prompted a constitutional controversy as the country’s constitution did not envisage the present But for the meantime, the APC said it is still studying the scenario, hoping to take a decision on it soon.
