The 7-month marrige between ace comedian, Oluwadamilola Adekoya, popularly renowned as Princess, and Adeshola Jeremiah has smashed as the chubby comedienne said they divide due to “irreconcilable differences”.
It was discovered that the wedding ceremony had not been a bed of roses as both parties had been having incessant fights, which necessitated family and friends intervening on some events.
Princess, a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos, got wed on May 8, 2013. She earlier verified the split to an online entertainment site, thenet.ng.
She furthermore verified in a telephone interview with punch.
Princess said, “It is factual, my wedding ceremony has ended. We got wed in May. We endeavoured to work it out but we couldn’t.
“It happened a while ago. It is not very simple for a marriage to end. All the exhilaration of wedding ceremony has passed. We liked to hold it out of the public for a while.”
She continued “People have been calling me since. I opened up about this at an happening yesterday. It wasn’t a case of household abuse. We just had irreconcilable dissimilarities. Nobody wants her wedding ceremony to smash into. I am the one in the limelight, I didn’t believe it was a report I should announced. But eventually, I had to open up. God understands best, He would strengthen me. It is better to try than not to try at all.
“Now, I even use it as a joke. persons who call me should also notify me they have a job for me and not to call me and bawl and inquire how it happened.”
The news from the horse stables of the humour merchant is coming scarcely days to the New Year.
A couple of days to her marriage, the happy and proud bride had written on one of her social newspapers accounts that her hubby was coming to swab off the disgrace of her life.
