Cut On CCTV, Cop shot Child Snatcher on the Head: Killing Must be investigated(VIDEO)

CCTV pictures has been released of a toddler snatched from the a mother who went to shoping with her two kids in an oklahoma supermarket, the action which ended with a Cop shooting dead the suspect at a very close range. Please watch this video carely, and comment, was shooting the man on the head the last option to rescue that kid?

The police investigation video free by police in midwest town shows a person snatching a two-year-old girl from a shopping trolley and so holding a knife to her throat.
The toddler's mother, Alicia Keating, frantically pleads with the person, known as Sammie Wallace, 37, as other shoppers crowd around.
The man snatches the kid as her mother's back is turned demanding the woman to call 911
She is seen and calling 911 to facilitate the release of her kid. local police area unit quickly arrive at the scene and clear the shop.
After 30 minutes of tense negotiation, police said Wallace began talking a few satanic cult and counting down from sixty.
One of the officers, Captain David Huff, determined to make sure the safety of the toddler would be to take forceful action.
On the video he's seen moving quickly towards the hostage-taker and getting ready to fire one shot at his head.
The pictures stop at that time, however the police comment continues and confirms Wallace was killed. the kid was not hurt..
My question is/ was that the best way the police could rescue that child, as close as the police was to the man why did he not aleast shoot the man just to disable rather killing him?
How you sure the my is not insane,,,,,,, ??????????
