Brazil 2014: Nigeria Beats Kenya to Top Group F

Nigeria Vs Kenya Match Blackout A second half goal by Ahmed Musa paved way for the Eagles to fly over the Harambee Stars topping group F by 3 points over 2nd placed Malawi, which could only draw at home with Namibia.

Going into the penultimate game, the Eagles had only been leading Malawi on goals difference but the victory has now put Nigeria on course to make the final knock out match to determine which 5 teams will represent Africa at next year’s World Cup finals in Brazil.

After having almost been beaten in the 1st leg in Calabar after the Eagles needed a late minute equaliser to secure a point, pressure had been on Nigeria going into this match.
