BREAKING NEWS: PDP Governors Rejects Re-election of Gov. Amaechi After Defeating Gov. Jonah Jang

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governors have rejected the re-election of Gov. Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State as Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF.
Briefing newsmen after the election, Gov. Godswill Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom State (Chairman of PDP Governors Forum) described the election as a sham, saying they will only recognise Gov. Jonah Jang of Plataeu State as Chairman.
This came on after Rotimi Amaechi was reelected Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) by state Governors at a meeting which held this evening inside the Rivers State Governors Lodge in Abuja. Governor Amaechi defeated Plateau State Governor, Jonah David Jang by 19-16 votes
