Porn has quietly reinvented itself on the world-wide-web, becoming more mainstream and culturally embedded every day.
Today, teenagers are bombarded with these images like never before through the Internet. They're growing up in a world awash in X-rated material. Access of Teenager to this xxx materials is so easy now that Teenager gets to know everything about sex before the rightful age.
As for young people, the average age they first see it is now 11 years old. Ninety percent of those 8 to 16 years old say they've viewed it online.
Many are now becoming addicted. It's an addiction that could ruin their future lives.
No one whispers about it anymore. It seems is a normal/ moral thing in our society today. There's no need for dark theaters where furtive men skulk with guilt and damp handkerchiefs. Women need not giggle about Victorian novels with "dirty parts." Kids don't have to wait for Sex Ed, mom and dad, or that kid down the street who'll show them a penis. No, the Internet has democratized the visual narrative of anatomical sex and every kid with a computer or a smart phone, in a closet is online and gettin' it on.
It's a $97 billion business every year, making more than top tech companies Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, eBay, Google, and Yahoo combined.
Roughly 12 percent of the world's websites, 4.2 million of them, offer the illicit material. About 2.5 billion pornographic emails whiz through cyberspace everyday - a whopping 8 percent of all the world's daily emails.
Given its ubiquity and availability, there's no surprise in conversations I've had with younger adults who admit that porn comprises the bulk of their sexual mentoring and messaging, where they pick up their standards and practices, and how they learn dirty acts.
We've got a culture that not only aggrandizes, utilizes and idealizes porn in every nook and cranny of life, but one that, oddly, can turn it around to bully and berate anyone who might find the hyper saturation a tad hyperbolic.
Nudity has been gradually legalized, it has gained entrance into our daily life, the children now grow up in a world polluted with porn, what does the future holds for these teenagers? children now grow up with out morals, because of moral decadence. no wonder STDs are so common with teenager more than before,,,,,
What does the future holds for these children:
Can't there be a strict regulation on pornography?
we continue from Part 2
