The whereabouts of the journalist working with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Akure who was kidnapped by gunmen on Thursday is still unknown.
Olubunmi Oke was abducted by four gunmen on Thursday after closing from work around 8.30 p.m.
Staff at the TV station were seen in sober mood on Friday evening.
Most of the staff, who declined to comment on the issue, gathered in groups to discuss her abduction.
At Ms. Oke’s family house in Oshinle, her family members were in a similar mood. Her five-month old baby was also with the family members.
The Ondo State Police have confirmed the kidnapping. The police spokesperson, Wole Ogodo, said her abductors have not communicated with the family.
Her vehicle has also been recovered at Igbara-Oke in Ifedore Local Government Area of the State- PREMIUM TIMES
