According to Mr. Adelabu, in the attempt to escape the driver allegedly hit a Gulf car.
He said the driver of the Gulf car was soliciting for passengers on the opposite side of the road, and that those who sustained injuries had been taken by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, to the Wuse General Hospital.
Ibrahim Bello, an Assistant Corps Commander of the FRSC, who confirmed the incident, said that four men and three women were injured in the accident, which he attributed to over speeding.
