along Ajaokuta-Lokoja road on his way to Lokoja, the state capital, after attending the annual Igala education summit held at the Kogi State University, Anyigba

The governor has been rushed to the emergency ward of a government hospital. His Aide-de-camp [ADC], Idris Mohammed, an Assistant Superintendent of Police [ASP] who died on the spot.
