Accident scenes has become a regular feature on Sani Abacha Way in the federal capital territory, Abuja,
an auto accident occurred today pulling down one of the street lights directly behind Silverbird galleria, Central Area in the FCT. if you look at the google map above you will see Sani Abacha Way , it a sharp bend which circles , Silverbird galleria, Yar Adua Center, PTDF Building and Arts and Culture center, Driving along this way is exciting and dangerous that is why crashes are frequent. Most motorists often get carried away by the smooth and tempting sharp bend. There is virtually no week that an accident is not recorded on this way, either a drunk driver coming very early from a club, or a new driver that is not conversant with the bend or a driver who lost control of the bend. they either ram into one or two of the street light, or jump into the ditch by the left, or ram into another motorist, the severity of the accident also depend on the speed and road wordiness of the driver.
We are calling on FRSC to mount prominent road signs /warnings before and along the bend to caution new and old motorist plying the route.
i just hope, they will put warning signs that every body can see,,,, there is no week i dont see accident on this road,,,,, federal government help help
