Former Oyo State Governor, Lam Adesina Dies At 72

Former Oyo State Governor, Lam Adesina is dead. Report say he passed on in Lagos this morning. His remains, we learnt has been moved to Ibadan.

Sources say he will be buried at his Felele, Ibadan residence later today according to Islamic rites.

Lam Adesina has been ill for some time and was about a month ago moved to a popular private hospital in Lagos after his children believed he was not receiving adequate medical care at the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

Alhaji Lamidi Ona-Olapo Adesina was born 20 January 1939. He was 72.
