FIFA Bans Jack Warner, Former Vice President For Life

Trinidadian Jack Warner, once one of the most powerful men in soccer, has been banned from all football-related activities for life, the ethics committee of world governing body FIFA said on Tuesday. Hajj Stampede: Nigeria Death Toll Now 64 as NAHCON identifies more bodies

As the tragic incidence at the 2015 Hajj, is still a shock to many, Alhaji Uba Mana, the Director, Public Affairs of the commission, said 244 Nigeria pilgrims had been declared missing. Mana said 71 pilgrims were injured as against the 61 pilgrims earlier announced by the commission. He said of the 64 deceased pilgrims, 46 were transported to Saudi Arabia by state pilgrims’ welfare agencies and 18 by private tour operators. Olu Falae slept on bare floor for four days

"Olu Falae, was released on Thursday after being kidnapped allegedly by some Fulani herdsmen on Monday, on his farm in Ilado village, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, described his experience as “hell.” In his discussion with the state Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, who paid him a visit at his Oba Ile residence, Falae said his abductors were unreasonable in their demand. He said, “When I told the kidnappers that my family could raise N2m for ransom against the N100m they demanded, they rejected it and told me, ‘Is it Boko Haram you are giving N2m to?’” After being released, the septuagenarian said he trekked several kilometers from his farm to a hotel in Owo town, where he met security agents that took him home. It was like a biblical triumphant entry for the elder statesman as he was cheered by scores of his friends, family and people of Ilu Abo town, where he is a traditional ruler. All efforts to speak personally with Falae were prevented by his hostile children.

Court Order The Arrest Of Saraki any where He is Found

Naija drama , the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, sitting in Abuja has ordered the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Solomon Arase and other relevant security agencies in ‎the country to arrest the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki. In a ruling this afternoon, the tribunal headed by Justice Danladi Umar issued a bench warrant against Saraki following his refusal to appear in court to face a 13-count criminal charge that was preferred against him by the Federal Ministry of Justice.
