President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday arrived in Paris, France, to connect other world Presidents that are taking part in a summit on peace and security in Africa.
Jonathan has declared three days of nationwide mourning for previous South African President, Dr. Nelson Mandela who passed away yesterday.
All flags are to be flown at half-mast across Nigeria throughout the period and President Jonathan urges all Nigerians to join in solidarity with the brotherly persons of South Africa as they mourn the great liberator, freedom fighter and champion of the back race.
The President furthermore calls for exceptional prayers in mosques and places of worship in Nigeria throughout the time span of mourning which starts today, for the peaceful repose of Dr. Mandela’s soul.
