2015: Jonathan Must Submit Self to Transparent Primary – Atiku

Atiku to Jonathan
The next general election is at the corner very soon political office holders will divert 70% of their time to 2015 elections,  "AHEAD of the 2015 Presidential election, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar Saturday, said that the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan  must present himself for  the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

According to him,  PDP must carry out a transparent and fair process of primary where the president will participate  like any other party member, just as he was quick to add that President Jonathan was  entitled to seek the party ticket in 2015.

He said that by foreclosing free and fair process of selecting its presidential candidate, PDP  might be sending the wrong message to Nigerians about its commitment to conduct free and fair elections for the entire country.

The former Presidential aspirant on the platform of PDP however rejected the party’s policy of “consensus arrangement” and “adoption” rather than transparent elections to produce candidates for all elective offices, including the presidency"-Vanguard
