Father Baths Daughter with Hot Water at Julius Berger Camp, Kubwa



Tragedy struck Monday evening at the Julius Berger Camp, Kubwa, when a 17-year-old girl was allegedly bathed with hot water by her father for her inability to find his missing bathroom slippers.
The victim, Sarah Eze, Presently in Kubwa General Hospital she said the whole issue started when her father, Kelvin Eze, complained that he could not find his bathroom slippers and demanded if she knew of its whereabouts.

The victim said she told her father that she did not see the slippers but the response angered him and he started accusing her of being a witch.
“He asked me if I know where he kept his slippers and I said I don’t know and he became angry saying that any time he asked me of anything I would say I don’t know and that I am a witch,” she lamented.
Sarah, a JSS 3 student of Junior Secondary School, Kubwa, said the father first pounced on her, and then rushed to the kitchen and carried hot water meant for preparing food and poured on the left side of her body

She said she was later taken to Kubwa General Hospital by her step mother and a neighbour, where she is currently receiving treatment.

How ever the Father denied ever pouring hot water on her, that she fell into the hot water while he was beating her,
