A radical islamist group based in Nigeria said that it has killed seven hostages believed to include one Briton.
Ansar al-Muslimeen in the Land of Black Africans seized the group on February 16 from a construction company operating in the northern part of the country.
Local reports suggested that the group killed the hostages after British warplanes were reportedly seen in the country's northern region.

The group released a statement the group said it executed the hostages because of rescue attempts by British and Nigerian forces.
